Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmadabad is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS). SAC focuses on design of space borne instruments for terrestrial and planetary missions of ISRO and development and operationalisation of space technology for national development.

ISRO Invites Online Application from eligible Professionals for Recruitment to the various Posts of Scientists and Engineer-SC/SD in Various Departments of Space Application Centre SAC (ISRO), as per the details given below:

• Scientist/Engineer-SC (Geology/Geophysics) - M.Sc. / M. Tech. In Geology/Geophysics 

• Scientist/Engineer-SC (Physical Oceanography) - M.Sc. / M. Tech. in Physical Oceanography. 

• Scientist/Engineer-SC (Water Resources Management) - M. Tech in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water resources. 

• Scientist/Engineer-SD (Forestry) - Ph.D. in Forestry with consistent first class academic records. 

• Scientist/Engineer-SD (Geology/ Geophysics) - Ph.D. in Geology/Geophysics with research experiences and consistent first class academic records. 

• Scientist/Engineer-SD (Geology/Geophysics) - Ph. D in the field of Geology/Geophysics/ Lunar/Planetary Geosciences with consistent first class academic records.

• Scientist / Engineer-SD (Physical Oceanography) - Ph.D. in Physics/ Physical Oceanography with consistent first class academic records and research experience in the field of Marine Optics/Ocean color remote sensing/ Coastal zone management. 

Pay Scale: Scientist/Engineer-SC: - Rs. 15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs. 5400/- per month; Scientist/Engineer-SD: - Rs. 15600-39100(PB-3) + Grade Pay: 6600/- per month Plus other allowances like DA, HRA, Transport Allowance and Performance Related Incentive Scheme (PRIS) will be admissible from time to time. 

Age Limits: 35 years as on 15-11-2011 (age relaxation will be available as per law)
