Narmada Control Authority NCA has invited Application for the Posts of Engineers, Technician, and Stenographers & Helpers. With reference to the vacancy circular of NCA published in the Employment News issue dated 24 - 30 September 2011, to fill up the vacancy on short term contract basis: 


Appointment on contract basis will be initially for one year which may be renewed on year to year basis up to a maximum period of three years, based on the performance of the candidate as well as the requirement from time to time. 

Details regarding eligibility criteria, experience, emoluments, age limit etc. for the posts are as under: 

• Junior Engineer (Civil): A degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (50% for SC candidate) 

• Junior Engineer (Electrical): A degree or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (50% for ST candidate) 

• Technician (MCC): 10th Standard pass or equivalent with ITI certificate in Electrical/Electronics/ instrumentation/Automobile or equivalent trade from a recognized university/ institute and working experience of two years with a reputed firm/ organization in maintenance of microprocessor based electronic/ communication/ Mechanical equipment. 

• Technical Helper (EMC): 10th Standard pass or equivalent. Work experience of two years with a reputed electrical firm / organization. 

• Stenographer Grade-D: 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university and speed of 80/40 words per minutes in English shorthand typing respectively. 

Pay / Salary: Candidates appointed will be entitled to get consolidated monthly remuneration equivalent to the minimum of the pay band + grade pay plus other allowances applicable to NCA employees of similar grade at the place of posting 

Selection Process: Selection shall be based on the performance of the candidates in the written test as well as in the interview. Short listed candidates will be called for written test/interview; Candidates called for written test/interview shall not be entitled for any TA/DA.
