Name of the Post – Male Constable – Total 200 Positions

Age Limits: The minimum and maximum age for recruitment shall be 18 years and 25 years respectively. The cut off date shall be 01-01-2011 in all aspects. (Relaxation will be applicable as per rules of GOI)

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs. 5910-20200 + Grade pay: Rs. 2000. The posts shall also carry other allowances as admissible under Government instructions/rules, the selected candidates will be included under Defined Contributory Pension Scheme’ of the State Govt.

Essential Qualifications: The minimum educational qualification for recruitment is 10+2 or its equivalent. It is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as compulsory /optional subject. Application Fee: Rs. 100/-. at the counter or by sending a demand draft in favour of the Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala, payable at Patiala.

Application Form: Application form can be obtained from In-charge, University Enquiry & Information Centre situated at the University main gate on payment of Rs. 100/-. At the counter or by sending a demand draft along with a self-addressed envelope (25x10cms) affixed with the postage stamps worth Rs. 25/- The same can also be downloaded from University website and send along with a demand draft.

Candidates already in service should send their applications through proper channel. However, an advance copy along with required certificates/Detail marks cards/documents may be sent directly.
