ICMR NIRT Technical Officer/Assistant Cadres Recruitment vacancy 2011

National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis is an Epidemiology Unit under Indian Institute of Medical Research, a Department of Health Research Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

NIRT Invites Application for various posts of Technical Cadre at the ICMR’s National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Epidemiology Unit, Chennai, As per the details given below:

• Technical Officer – A (Statistics) – 01 Post {Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay: Rs.4600/- | Age Limits: Max 35 Years} Qualifications: BSc / MSc / PhD in Statistics / Biostatistics with Experience in using statistical software.

• Technical Officer – A (Information Technology) – 01 Post {Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay: Rs.4600/- | Age Limits: Max 35 Years} Qualifications: BSc / MSc / PhD in Information Technology / Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics 

• Technical Assistant (Statistics) – 03 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay: Rs.4200/- | Age Limits: Below 30 Years} Qualifications: BSc / MSc Statistics / Mathematics with Statistics with Experience in handling medical data and data processing. 

• Technical Assistant (Information Technology) – 02 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay: Rs.4200/- | Age Limits: Below 30 Years} Qualifications: BSc / MSc Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Mathematics, Statistics with Diploma in Computers. 

• Technical Assistant (Laboratory) – 02 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay: Rs.4200/- | Age Limits: Below 30 Years} Qualifications: BSc / MSc degree in Life sciences with experience in handling clinical samples.

• Technical Assistant (Field) – 02 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay: Rs.4200/- | Age Limits: Below 30 Years} Qualifications: Graduate/ Post graduate degree with experience in health / disease surveys.

Please Note: Age Relax able up to 5 years for Government Servants and SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Not belonging to Creamy Layer) , PH Candidates 10 years and also for certain other categories in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard. 

Application Fee: Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.100/- towards application fee (non refundable) in favour of “The Director, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Chennai”.
