Eligible Residents: Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, & West Bengal 

• Constable Posts in Bihar State – Total 193 {Male: 185; Female: 08} 

• Constable Posts in Jharkhand State – Total 60 {Male: 59; Female: 01} 

• Constable Posts in Orissa State – Total 94 {Male: 92; Female: 02} 

• Constable Posts in West Bengal State – Total 97 {Male: 94; Female: 03} 

• Constable Posts in Utter Pradesh – Total 421 {Male: 417; Female: 04} 

• Constable Posts in Madhya Pradesh State – Total 191 (Male) 

• Constable Posts in Chhattisgarh State – Total 66 (Male) 

Age Limits: Between 18 to 23 Years as on 01/8/2011. (Please note age relaxation will be given as per the GOI rules) 

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- plus Other Allowances as admissible to Central Govt. Employees from time to time under the rules. 

Place of Duty: Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere within as well as outside the Territory of India. 

Essential Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board / University, Technical Qualifications: Motor Vehicle Fitter Course (Automobiles)/Motor Mechanic Course from ITI or any other recognized institutions with Valid Driving Licence 

Application Fee: Rs. 50 by means of crossed IPO/Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of the Deputy Inspector General of Police of concerned application receiving centre, mentioned below.
