UPSC CDS Examination-1 2012 for IMA, INA, AFA, OTA Men & Women Courses

Union Public Service Commission will hold a Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination-I 2012 Including Women (Non-Technical) Courses for admission in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Officers Training Academy Chennai Men & Women Technical and Non Technical Courses, eligible & willing candidates, who fulfils the required eligibility criteria may apply for this examination before 28th November 2011. Details are as follow:

Name of the examination: Combined Defence Services Examination-1 2012 

• Indian Military Academy – 250 Seats {Unmarried Male Candidates born not before 02-01-1989 and not after 01-01-1994 | Essential Qualifications: Graduate or its equivalent from recognized University} 

• Indian Naval Academy – 40 Seats {Unmarried Male candidates born not before 02-01-1991 and not after 01-01-1994 | Essential Qualifications: Graduation Degree in Engineering or Science with Physics / Mathematics} 

• Air Force Academy – 32 Seats {Unmarried Male candidates born not before 02-01-1990 and not after 01-01-1994 | Essential Qualifications: B. Tech Degree or Bachelor Degree in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. (Final year of Degree course candidates may also apply} 

• Officers Training Academy – 175 Seats {Unmarried/Married Male Candidates born not before 02-01-1988 and not after 01-01-1994 | Essential Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in any subject from a recognized University} 

• Officers Training Academy, SSC Women (Non-technical) – 30 Seats {Unmarried Female candidates born not before 02-01-1988 and not after 01-01-1994 | Essential Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline} 

Application Fees: Rs. 100/- for all candidates except SC/ST/Women candidates; Shall be paid in any State Bank of India (SBI Branch) by cash or using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card or by using net banking facility of SBI.
