Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences ARIES; is an Autonomous Scientific Research Organization under the Department of Science and Technology; Government of India. 

ARIES Invites Application from eligible candidates for direct recruitment on various Posts. As per the following details given here: 

• Scientist 'C' – Total 17 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100; Grade Pay: Rs. 6600 | Age Limits: Max 40 Years} Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics/Astrophysics and Ph.D. Research contribution in the areas of Galactic/Extragalactic/Solar (Astronomy and Astrophysics).

• Engineer 'B' (Mechanical/Electronics/Computer/Optic) – Total 05 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100; Grade Pay: Rs. 5400 | Age Limits: Max 35 Years} Essential Qualifications: BE/M.E./M. Tech. degree with Minimum 55% marks in the relevant area of Engineering (Mechanical or Electronics or Computer or Optical/instrumentation. 

• Assistant Registrar – Total 01 Post {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100; Grade Pay: Rs. 5400 | Age Limits: Max 40 Years} Essential Qualifications: Masters Degree from a recognized university in any discipline with consistently good academic record + Experience in the Finance/Accounts. 

• Scientific Assistant – Total 04 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200; Grade Pay: Rs. 2800 | Age Limits: Max 30 Years} Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. with Physics or equivalent with experience in Public outreach/ opto-electronics instrumentation/general instrumentation. 

• Engineering Assistant (Electronics) – Total 04 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200; Grade Pay: Rs. 2800 | Age Limits: Max 30 Years} Essential Qualifications: Diploma in Electronics or equivalent, Experience in electronics engineering. 

• Engineering Assistant (Computer) – Total 04 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200; Grade Pay: Rs. 2800 | Age Limits: Max 30 Years} Essential Qualifications: Diploma in computer Science or equivalent, Experience of working in a research organization. 

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – Total 03 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200; Grade Pay: Rs. 1900 | Age Limits: Max 30 Years} Essential Qualifications: Bachelor Degree from a recognized University with Knowledge of working on computers. 

• Driver 'B' – Total 01 Post {Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200; Grade Pay: Rs. 1900 | Age Limits: Max 30 Years} Essential Qualifications: High school pass with a valid driving licence for light and heavy vehicle, knowledge of motor mechanism & experience in driving.

Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of Screening Test/Personal Interview, for which eligible Candidates will be called for screening test or interview or both after screening of applications.
