UPPRPB-Lucknow invites applications for the Posts of Constables & Armed Constabulary (Total 41440 Vacancies) by Direct Recruitment Examination 2011, Details are as followed:

• Constables: 39425 Posts {General-20009, OBC-10430, SC-7889, ST-1097} 
• Pradeshik Armed Constabulary (PAC): 2015 Posts {Genral-1008, OBC-544, SC-423, ST-40} 

Pay Scale: Selected Candidates will get Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- 

Age Limits: For Male Candidates: 18 to 22 Years & For Female Candidates: 18 to 25 years

Required Qualifications: Candidates must have passed 12th Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) OR Equivalent from any Board/Institution recognized by Government of India.

Application Fee: Non-Refundable fee of Rs.50/- for Prescribed OMR Application Form along with details can be purchased from any “Main/General Head Post Offices” in the Districts of Uttar Pradesh. Applications form can be purchased from 20.07.2011 to 19.08.2011. 

How to Apply: Applications in the prescribed format (OMR Application Form) dully filled along with all supporting documents and certificates will be deposited in the Main/General Post Offices (See Detailed List mentioned in the Advertisement) on or before 19.08.2011 up to 5.00 PM. 

After that no application form will be accepted. Candidates request not to send the applications directly to the board. 

Selection Process: Selection will be strictly on the basis of Written Test, Physical Test and Interview of the successful candidates.
