South Malabar Gramin Bank (SMGB) is A Government Undertaking Sponsored by Canara Bank, SMG Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens, for the posts in Officer Middle Management Scale-III (Senior Manager), Officer Middle Management Scale-II (Manager), Officer Junior Management Scale-I (Assistant Manager) Cadres and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Details are as given herein: 

• Officer MMG Scale – III – Group “A” – Total 04 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs. 25700 – 31500/- | Age Limits: 21 – 40 Years} Qualifications: Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

• Officers MMG Scale – II – Group “A” – Total 18 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs. 19400 – 28100/- | Age Limits: 21 – 40 Years} Qualification: Degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology / Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• Officers JMG Scale – I – Group “A” – Total 47 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs. 14500 – 25700/- | Age Limits: 18 – 28 Years} Qualification: Bachelor degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent. 

• Office Assistants (Multipurpose – Clerks) – Group “B” – Total 43 Posts [Pay Scale: Rs. 7200 – 19300/- | Age Limits: 18 – 28 Years} Qualification: Degree or its equivalent of a recognized University in any discipline. 

Note: Proficiency in Malayalam language & Knowledge of computer skills is Required.

Selection Process: The selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and interview. Accepted date of Written Examination:

Officer MMG Scale – II Group “A: 13.11.2011
Officer JMG Scale – I Group “A”: 13.11.2011
Office Assistant (MP) Group “B”: 20.11.2011
