relevant research, for faculty positions at the level of Professor,
Associate Professor and Assistant Professor (In the Departments of Civil,
Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Metallurgy (MME), Chemical, CSE, Bio-Tech, SOM,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, H&SS (in English), T&P etc.) Details are as

- Assistant Professor: Total 52 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600 – 39100 AGP | Age Limits: Max 36 Years}
- Associate Professor: Total 34 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400 – 67000 AGP – 9000 | Age Limits: Max 40 Years}
- Professor: Total 21 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400 – 67000 AGP – 10000 | Age Limits: Max 45 Years}
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. with First
class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in appropriate discipline.
Work Experience: Assistant Professors: Fresher’s are
invited; Associate Professors: At least 6 years of post Ph.D. teaching /
Research / Industrial experience out of which at least 3 years should be at the
level of Assistant Professor or equivalent;
Professors: At least 10 years of post Ph.D. teaching
/ Research / Industrial experience, out of which at least 4 years should be at
the level of Associate professor or equivalent
NITW is also

Administration / Academic Administration for the position of REGISTRAR (on
deputation / contract basis) Detail is as given below:
- Registrar: 01 Post {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400 – 67000 AGP – 10000 | Age Limits: Max 55 Years}
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree
with at least 55% 1 marks or its equivalent; Work Experience: At least 15 years of experience as Assistant
Professor / Associate Professor of which 8 years should be in Associate
Professor Grade, with experience in Educational Administration.
