CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow Recruitment 2011 for Scientist Posts

CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) invites applications from enthusiastic young and dynamic Indian Nationals having excellent academic record/proven Scientific achievements and the ability to undertake R&D in an innovative way for the following posts of Scientists in the areas as given below:

• Principal Scientist (Biotechnology): 01 Post UR {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 + GP 8700} Essential Qualification: PhD in the area of Plant Biotechnology / Plant Molecular Biology and three years postdoctoral research experience in related area. 
• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Bioinformatic/Biochemistry): 01 Posts UR {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100} Essential Qualification: PhD submitted in the area of Bioinformatic for Scientist OR Ph.D.in the area of Bioinformatics with two years of research experience for Senior Scientist.

• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Project Planning & Management): 01 Post UR {Pay Scale: PB-3Rs.15600-39100} Essential Qualification: PhD submitted in Botany/Chemistry for Scientist OR M.Sc. with MBA / Post Graduate degree in Intellectual Property Law with three years experience / PhD in Botany/Chemistry with two years experience for Senior Scientist

• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Plant Biochemistry/Microbiology): 01 Posts SC {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100} Essential Qualification: PhD submitted in the area of Biochemistry/Microbiology for Scientist OR PhD in the area of Biochemistry / Microbiology with two years research experience in Plant Biochemistry/Microbiology for Senior Scientist 

• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Microbiology): 01 Post UR {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100} Essential Qualification: PhD submitted in Microbiology/Life Sciences for Scientist OR PhD in Microbiology/Life Sciences with two years postdoctoral research experience in related area for Senior Scientist.

• Scientist / Senior Scientist (Information & Communication Technology): 01 Post UR {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100} Essential Qualifications: ME / M. Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology for Scientist OR ME/M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology with minimum three years research experience in related area for Senior Scientist

Age Limits: up to 45 years for Principle Scientists,  32 years for Scientist & 37 years for Senior Scientist
