The prime mandate of Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research is to identify and evaluate uranium resources required for the successful implementation of Atomic Energy programme of the country. For implementing this important task investigations are taken up across the length and breadth of the country from Regional Exploration & Research Centres located at New Delhi , Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Shillong, Jaipur, Nagpur and Hyderabad (AMD Headquarter & South Central Region)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts for appointment in Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD): 

• Technical Officer-E (Mining): 01 Post; Pay Band: PB-3, Rs.15, 600-39,100 + Rs.7600 Grade Pay plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 37 years; Qualifications B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mining Engineering from a Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted), with minimum 09 years of working experience in production line of a large mechanized underground metal mines/mechanizedopencast mines. 
• Technical Officer-C (Mining): 02 Posts; Pay Band PB-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 27 years; Qualifications B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mining Engineering from Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) 
• Technical Officer-C (Chemistry): 06 Posts; Pay Band PB-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: Maximum 27 years; Qualifications M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Analytical/Inorganic/Industrial Chemistry with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution (Physics upto B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc. and Mathematics upto Standard XII with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. from a Recognised University/Institution is desirable). 
• Technical Officer-C (Mechanical/Drilling); 02 Posts; Pay Band PB-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 27 years; Qualifications B.E./B.Tech. In Mechanical/Automobile/Drilling Engineering from a Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate 
• Technical Officer-C (Civil): 02 Posts; Pay Band PB-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: Maximum 27 years; Qualifications B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Civil Engineering from a Recognized University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. 
• Technical Officer-C (Electrical): 01 Post; Pay Band: PB-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 27 years; Qualifications .E./B.Tech./AMIE in Electrical Engineering from a Recognized University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. 
• Scientific Assistant-B (Electrical): 02 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay: PB-2, Rs.9300-34,800 + Rs.4200 Grade Pay Plus DA & other allowances as admissible. Age Limits: maximum 30 Years; Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. 
• Scientific Assistant-B (Mine Survey): 02 Posts; Pay Band: PB-2 Rs.9,300-34,800 + Rs.4200 Grade Pay ;Age Limits: maximum 30 years; Qualifications Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years course after SSC) from a recognised institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and with Mines Survey Competency Certificate in metalliferous Mines (Unrestricted). 
• Technician-B (Drilling): 28 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, 5200-20,200 + GP Rs.2000/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 25 years; Qualifications 1. HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths. 2. Recognized trade certificate in Auto Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic trade of not less than one year duration, awarded by NCVT.
• Technician-B (Electrical): 03 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, 5200-20,200 + GP Rs.2000/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: Maximum 25 years; Qualifications: 1. HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths. 2. Recognised trade certificate in Electrician trade of not less than one year duration, awarded by NCVT.
• Technician-B (Physics): 02 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, 5200-20,200 + GP Rs.2000/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: Maximum 25 years; Qualifications: 1. HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths. 2. Recognized trade certificate in Machinist (Grinder) or Instrument Mechanic trade of not less than one year duration, awarded by NCVT. 
• Technician-B (Chemistry): 02 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, 5200-20,200 + GP Rs.2000/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: Maximum 25 years; Qualifications: 1. HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths. 2. Recognized trade certificate in Chemical Plant / Chemical Laboratory works of not less than one year duration, awarded by NCVT. 
• Technician-B (EDXRF, EPMA): 02 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, 5200-20,200 + GP Rs.2000/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 25 Years; Qualifications 1. HSC or SSC passed with minimum 60% marks with Science and Maths. 2. Recognized trade certificate of not less than one year duration. 
• Stenographer (Grade-II): 07 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-2, 9300-34,800 + GP Rs.4200/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: Maximum 27 Years; Qualifications: (1) Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks (2) Minimum speed of 100 WPM in English shorthand and 45 WPM in English Typing. 
• Stenographer (Grade-III): 02 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, 5200-20,200 + GP Rs.2400/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: Maximum 27 years; Qualifications: (1) Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks. And speed of 80 WPM in English Stenography and Typing speed in English of 30 WPM. 
• Upper Division Clerk (UDC): 09 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, Rs.5200-20,200 + GP Rs.2400/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 27 years; Qualifications Essential: (1) A Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce of a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks (2) Desirable: A minimum speed of 30 WPM in English typewriting. (3) Knowledge of Computer Data Processing. 
• Driver (Ordinary Grade): 20 Posts; Pay Band & Grade Pay PB-1, Rs. 5200-20,200 + GP Rs.1900/- plus DA & other allowances as admissible; Age Limits: maximum 27 years; Qualifications: Selection Must have passed 10th standard (SSC or equivalent) and must hold a clean and valid driving license to drive Heavy vehicles and 3 years experience in driving Light Vehicle/Heavy vehicle. Graduates need not apply.

SC/ST candidates, Women, Disabled Defence personnel and dependents of Defence Personnel killed in action and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the above fee.
