Indian – Tibetan Border Police Force is Inviting Application from all Indian Enthusiastic Citizens for filling up of the above vacancies of various posts in Group-C for the year 2011 on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the Indo- Tibetan Border Police Force. All the post has India Liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even Abroad.

The last Date of receipt of application is 31 January 2011 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of HP, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep for which last date is 7^th February 2011.

 Number of Vacant Posts is as given below:

47 Posts for Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):- In which 26 seats are for Other Backward Category, 04 seats are for Scheduled Tribes, 06 seats are for Scheduled caste and 11 seats are Unreserved.

Age Limit: - All the candidates applying for the Post of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) should be between 19 to 25 years.

Educational Essentials:- Candidate should be Minimum Metric or Equivalent Passed, should have valid Certificate in Motor Mechanics from an Recognized Institute, ITI with 3 years Practical experience in the Trade in a workshop or 3 years Diploma in Automobile Engineering would be advantage.

15 Posts for Constable (Motor Mechanic):- In which 04 seats are for Other Backward Category, 02 seats are for Scheduled caste and 09 seats are Unreserved.

Age Limit: - All the candidates applying for the Post of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) should be between 18 to 25 years.

Educational Essentials: - Candidate should be Minimum Metric or Equivalent Passed (8^th class passed for the ST candidates of Mizoram Stat, Tirap and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh only) should have valid Certificate in Motor Mechanics from an Recognized Institute / ITI.

249 Posts for Constable (Driver):- In which 45 seats are for Other Backward Category, 15 seats are for Scheduled Tribes, 89 seats are for Scheduled caste and 100 seats are Unreserved.

Age Limit: - All the candidates applying for the Post of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) should be between 19 to 25 years.

Educational Essentials: - Candidate should be Minimum Metric or Equivalent Passed (8^th class passed for the ST candidates of Mizoram Stat, Tirap and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh only) should have valid Driving License for Light / Medium / Heavy Motor Vehicles with minimum 2 years valid driving experience.
