The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board
(ASRB) was established on 1 November 1973 as an independent recruitment agency
in pursuance of the recommendations of the Gajendragadkar Committee.
The Agricultural
Scientists recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold on 22nd May 2011
(Sunday), a Competitive examination for recruitment to the Posts of Administrative
Officer and Finance & Account Officers in the Pay Band – Rs. 15600 – 39100 +
Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 at ICAR Research Institutes. The examination will be
conducted in accordance with the rules issued by the Council.
Following are
the numbers of vacancies to be filled up on the basis of this examination are given below: -
19 Posts for Administrative
Officers: - In which 08 seats are Unreserved, 01 Seat is for Scheduled Caste,
01 seat is for Scheduled Tribes, 08 Seats are for Other backward Category, and
01 seat is for Physically Disabled (Orthopedically Handicapped)
Educational
Qualifications: - All the Candidates must be Graduate from a Recognised University
securing not less than 55% marks in the final degree examination or equivalent and
should have working knowledge of Computers.
08 Posts for Finance
& Account Officers: - In which 05 seats are Unreserved, 01 seat is for
scheduled Tribes, 01 seat is for Other Backward category, and 01 seat is for Physically
Disabled (Orthopedically Handicapped)
Educational
Qualifications: - All the Candidates must be Graduate from a Recognised University
securing not less than 55% marks in the final degree examination or equivalent and
should have working knowledge of Computers.
Desirable Qualification:
- Specialization in Finance / Accounting / Commerce at the Post Graduation
Level or professional Qualifications like CA / ICWA / CS.
