Number of Positions: Total 267 Posts {UR: 158 - SC: 34 - ST: 07 - OBC: 68 Seats}
Subjects Wise: Economics-11, History-13, English-17, Ancient History-03, Maths-14, Zoology-14, Philosophy-08, Home Science-05, Geography-08, Physics-14, Psychology-03, Chemistry-17, Political Science-19, Botany-16, Commerce-21, Education-01, Sociology-14, Statistics-03, Micro Biology-01, Computer Science-01, Physical Education-03, B.Ed-09, Drawing-01, Agriculture-04, Urdu-02, Hindi-25, Sanskrit-15, Music-01, Defense Studies-04)
Pay Scale: Selected Lecturers by UPPSC will get pay scale of Rs.15600 - 39100/- per month with Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Age Limits: Candidates must be between age group of 21 to 40 years as on 01-07-2012 (age relaxation to reserved category candidates will be applicable for Lecturer Job Positions)
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in any School subject. and must Have cleared NET or SLET of Uttar Pradesh in the relevant subject or SLET in the relevant subject conducted by the other States of India prior to June, 2002.
Selection Process: Selection on the Posts of Lecturer in Govt Degree Colleges of U.P. by UPPSC will be done on the basis of Personal Interview and Screening Test.
Application Fee: Non-refundable fee of Rs.80/- only for General/OBC Candidates and Rs.40/- only for SC/ST Candidates must be paid through E-Challan of SBI or PNB Banks in India.
