Chhattisgarh Police www.cgpolice.gov.in official website of Chhattisgarh Police has published an official notice in which it invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Constable General Duty (GD) for Local Battalion of Chhattisgarh Armed Force in CG Police. Eligible Candidates willing to apply for Constable Jobs in Chhattisgarh Police are required to apply in prescribed application to CG Police on or before 18/06/2012.

CG Police Constable Recruitment Details:- 

Name of Post: Constable Armed Force - Constable General Duty (CGD) 

Number of Posts: Total 1863 Seats {UR: 914 – SC: 345 – ST: 357 – OBC: 247} 

Pay Scale: Selected Constables in CG Police will get Rs.5200 to 20200 + Grade Pay: Rs.1900/- per month 

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years of age as on 01-01-2013 

Qualifications: For Constable Posts Chhattisgarh Police Candidates must have done Matriculation or Higher Secondary or Equivalent qualifications from the School of Chhattisgarh / Madhya Pradesh. Class 8th Passed in case of SC Candidates. 

Physical Standard: UR & OBC: Height: 168; Chest: 81 to 86 – SC: Height: 165; Chest: 79 to 84 

Selection Process: Selection on the Posts of Constable in CG Police will be done on the basis of performance of candidates in Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Written Examination. 

Application Forms: The Prescribed application form for Chhattisgarh Police Constable Recruitment can be purchased from the Main Post Office Located in all District Headquarters of Chhattisgarh on payment of Rs.200 for UR & OBC Candidates and Rs.125 for SC / ST Candidates in cash.
