Union Public Service Commission will conduct a Combined Medical Service Examination 17th June 2012 for Recruitment on various Medical Officer Posts in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Dept. of Health) in the Gazette of India dated the 24th March, 2012. Eligible Candidates may send their application Online before 23 April 2012 

As per the Official UPSC CMS Exam Notification NO.07/2012-CMS – Details regarding Vacant Posts, Eligibility Criteria, Instructions and important Guidelines are mentioned below
  • Assistant Divisional Medical Officer (Railways): - 250 Posts 
  • Assistant Medical Officer (Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service): - 66 Posts 
  • Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service: 150 Posts 
  • Medical Officers (Municipal Corporation Delhi): 204 Posts 
  • General Duty (GD) Medical Officer (New Delhi Municipal Council): 32 Posts 
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years of age as on 01-01-2012. (Age relaxation SC/ ST/OBC candidates will be applicable) 

Essential Qualifications: Only those candidates are eligible for CMS Exam 2012 who has completed both parts (Written & Practical) of Final MBBS Examination. Those candidates who have appeared or have to appear for Final MBBS Examination may also apply for UPSC CMS Exam 2012. 

Application Fees: Candidates are required to pay of Rs.100 to any SBI Branch in Cash or thorough net banking or Credit / Debit Card. (No fee for SC / ST / PWD Categories and all Female Candidate)
