Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is a leading Public Sector Bank a Government of India Undertaking inviting Online applications from Indian Citizens for the post of Probationary Officer in JMG - I Scale from those candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011 and obtained a valid IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score Card. 

As per the Official Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) PO Recruitment Notice 2012 – Detailed Information and Instructions are given herein:-

• Name of Position - Probationary Officers (POs) 

Number of Positions – Total 1500 Vacancies (UR-736, OBC-392, SC-223, ST-149) 

Grade Scale: JMG Scale-I Officers 

Pay Scale: Rs.14500 – 25700 plus DA, HRA, CCA as per IOB rules in force from time to time. 

Age Limits: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01-07-2011 (reservations and relaxation will be applicable as per GOI rules) 

Essential Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (For Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks), Diploma in Computer application and Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) 

IBPS Score Card: Candidates should have obtained the valid IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score Card. 

Selection Process: Selection on the Posts of Probationary Officers (Po) in Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) will be done on the basis of Personal Interview for that Candidates shall be called for interview in order of merit of IBPS score card. 

Application Fee: Non-Refundable fee of Rs.50/- only for SC/ ST/ Persons with Disability (PWD); and Rs.200/- only for GEN/ OBC candidates. Fee shall be paid in cash only at any Branch of Indian Overseas Bank before applying On-line for IOB PO Posts.
