- Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyars on preferential basis) – 06 Posts
- Scheduled Tribes – 02 Posts
- Backward Classes (other than Backward Class Muslims) – 49 Posts
- Most Backward Classes and DE notified Communities – 37 Posts
- Backward Class Muslims – 06 Posts
Pay Scale: Rs.27700 – 44770/- per month
Age Limits: 22 to 27 years for Fresh Graduate Candidates from all Categories; and 25 to 40 years for Practicing Advocates / Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors.
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must be a fresh Law Graduate possessing a Degree in Law from a recognized University OR Must be practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in the High Court or Courts Subordinate thereto and must have so practiced for not less than 3 years
Selection Process: The final selection on the Posts of Civil Jude will be made on the basis of performance in by the candidates in Written Examination and Viva-Voce.
Application Fee: Non-Refundable fee of Rs.200/- Only should be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Madras, payable at Chennai (No Fee for SC/ST Candidates)
