SSC ER Recruitment Vacancy for Various Technicians, Sub Editor, Preservation Assistant, Technical Officer, Library Clerk Positions 2012 

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Eastern Region (SSCER), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training-Kolkata 

SSCER has invited applications from Eligible Indian Nationals Only for Recruitment on Various Group “B” and Group “C” Positions - as per the Official Employment Notification No: 11/1/2012-RECTT – details for are mentioned in below paragraphs. 

• Eligible Indian Candidates may apply on or before 27-02-2012 

SSCER Group-B and Group-C Posts of Technician, Sub Editor, Preservation Assistant, Technical Officer, Library Clerks etc., details: 

• Library Clerk (General, & Reprography) – 06 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs.1900/- | Age Limits: 18 to 37 Years | Essential Qualifications: 10th passed with certificates in Library Science / Photography is also required for Library Clerk Reprography} 

• Technician – 02 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- | Age Limits: 18 to 27 Years | Essential Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or Biology} 

• Sub Editor (Bengali) – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.5500-9000/- (pre revised) | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters in Literature} 

• Preservation Assistant – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs.2800/- | Age Limits: max 26 Years | Essential Qualifications: Degree in Botany} 

• Technical Officer – 03 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: 12th passed with Zoology / Botany / Agriculture} 

Selection Process: Selection on the above mentioned Positions will be done on the basis of Skill Test, Personality Test, and Personal Interview. 

Application Fee: Rs.50/- only from General/OBC Category Candidates (No Fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen and Women Candidates); must be paid in the shape of CRFS
