SSCER has invited application for recruitment on various Positions at Kolkata – as per the Official Employment Notification No.: 11/1/2012-RECTT – Details are as mentioned below - Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 27-02-2012 up to 5.00 PM. 

• Technician – Total 02 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-1 RS. 5200–20200/- + Grade Pay: RS. 2400 /- | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: B. Sc. (Biology/Microbiology) from a recognized University} 

• Sub-Editor – Total 01 Post {Pay Scale: RS. 5500–9000/- (pre-revised) | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: Graduate from recognized University / Degree in Librarianship (BLIS or MLIS) or equivalent qualification} 

• Preservation Assistant Grade I – Total 01 Post {Pay Scale: PB-1 RS. 5200–20200/- + Grade Pay: RS. 2800 /- | Age Limits: Max 26 Years | Essential Qualifications: B. Sc. with Botany as one of the subjects of a recognized University} 

• Technical Officer I – Total 03 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-1 RS. 5200–20200/- + Grade Pay: RS. 2000 /- | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: Intermediate with Science in Zoology/Botany/Agriculture or 10+2 class pass with Science (with Zoology/Botany/ Agriculture) from a recognized University/Board or Equivalent} 

• Library Clerk (Reprography) – Total 01 Post {Pay Scale: PB-1 RS. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay: RS. 1900/- | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized institution with certificate in Library Science, and Photography} 

• Library Clerk (General) – Total 05 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-1 RS. 5200 – 20200/- + Grade Pay: RS. 1900/- | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized institution; and a certificate in Library Science} 

Application Fee: Non-refundable fee of RS. 50/- only for candidates belonging to General/OBC Categories (No fee for SC/ST/PH/EXS/Women candidates); Fee Shall be paid through CRFs available in post offices. 

How to apply: Eligible candidates are required to send their application in prescribed format, along with CRFs, recent passport size photograph pasted on application form, attested photo copies of all necessary certificates to “The Regional Director”, Staff Selection Commission (ER), 234/4, AJC Bose Road, Nizam Palace, Ist MSO Building, 8th Floor, Kolkata-700020, on or before 27-02-2012 

• Last date for receipt of Application Forms to the Office is on or before 27-02-2012 
• Last Date for Receipt of Application Forms to the Office from Candidates applying from Remote Areas is on or before 05-03-2012), up to 5.00 PM.
