Staff Selection Commission SSC will hold a Combined All India Open Examination on 08-04-2012 for Recruitment to the Posts of Junior Engineers (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) in Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and Department of Posts, Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contract) in Military Engineering Service (MES), Junior Engineer (Civil & Mechanical) in Central Water Commission (CWC) and Farakka Barrage – Details are as mentioned below:
Age Limits: Candidates must be between 18 to 32 years of Age (Age relaxation will be applicable for special Category Candidates as per rules)
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have obtained a Degree / Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a Government recognized Institution or equivalent qualification.
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. Candidates who qualify for Interview will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination and Interview.
Application Fee: Non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/- Shall e paid in the shape of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS), CRFS are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country.
