Indian Tibetan Boarder Police Force (ITBP) Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India; ITBP Force Inviting Applications from male Indian citizens, for filling up the vacancies of above posts, in Group-C, on temporary basis likely to be permanent in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules. - Head Constables (Motor Mechanic) – Total 58 Vacancies {Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/- per month | Age Limits: 19 to 25 Years | Essential Qualification: Matriculation/10th, with Diploma/Certificate in Motor Mechanic/Automobile Engineering from recognized Institution/ITI}
- Constables (Motor Mechanics) – Total 135 Vacancies {Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualifications: Matriculation/10th, with Certificate in Automobile Engineering/Motor Mechanic trade from recognized institute/ITI}
- Constables (Driver) – Total 425 Vacancies {Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month | Age Limits: 18 to 25 Years | Essential Qualification: Matriculation / 10th, with Valid driving License for Light/Medium/Heavy vehicles with experience}
Note: 10% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
Physical Standards: Height: 170 cm; Chest: Unexpanded 80 cm – Expanded 85 cm; Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Medical Standards: Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. (Candidates should not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high color vision)
Eye Sight: between 6/6 – 6/9 of 2 eyes without correction/without wearing of glasses.
Selection Process: Selection of the eligible Candidates on the Posts of Head Constable OR Constables in ITBP Force will be done on the basis of Written Test, Practical Test/Trade Test, Personal Interview, and finally Detailed Medical Examination.
