Syndicate Bank of India, A Government of India Undertaking, invites ON-LINE Applications, from qualified candidates who hold a valid score card issued by IBPS, for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officers as per the Syndicate Bank Recruitment Notification No.: PD/HRDD/REC/03/2011, details are given below:
- Name of the Position – Probationary Officers (JMGS-I) – Total 1750 Vacancies
Age Limits: Candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age as on 01-07-2011 (Please note Maximum Age, exclusive of relaxation for Reserved (SC / ST / OBC/PWD) Category will be as per rules)
Pay Scale: Rs. 14500 – 25700/- + other allowances like DA, HRA, CCA, etc as per the Bank’s rule.
Eligible Candidates: For this Position only Indian Candidates are eligible OR those Candidates in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India.
Essential Qualifications: Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent exam recognized as such by Government of India with minimum 55% Marks in Graduation (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PWD Candidates)
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should be Qualified in the Common Written Examination for POs/MTs 2011-12 conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS.
Selection Process: Selection of ‘Probationary Officers’ will be done on the basis of merit ranking after adding the marks obtained in the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011 (Including Supplementary Exam held during November 2011) and Personal Interview.
Probation Period: The selected candidate will be on Probation for a period of 24 months (2 years) of active service from the date of his / her joining the Bank.
