Orissa Public Service Commission OPSC Special Recruitment to the post of Assistant Surgeon in Junior Class-I of Orissa Medical Service Cadre during the year -2011-12 for Scheduled Tribe & Scheduled Caste candidates only from India, under Health & Family Welfare Department, as per the advertisement No.: 03 OF 2011-2012 details are given below:
Name of the Post – Assistant Surgeon (Junior Class-I) MSC – Total 353 Positions
- Scheduled Tribes ST – Total 166 Posts
- Scheduled Caste SC – Total 187 Posts
Age Limits: A candidate must be under 37 (thirty-seven) years and above 21 (twenty-one) years of age on the 1st August, 2011. (Age Relaxation will be applicable as per rules)
Essential Qualifications: A candidate must be a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from any recognized University in the Indian Union or possess equivalent qualification or be a holder of a registered medical qualification from a recognized Medical College in United Kingdom. A candidate before appointment will have to register himself/herself under the Orissa Medical Registration Act, 1961, if not, already registered.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of career assessment and viva voce.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to send their applications in prescribed form by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier Service to the Secretary, Orissa Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001.
The Commission will not take any responsibility if the application is not received in time. The candidates may also submit their application in closed covers in the Office of Orissa Public Service Commission directly/personally on or before the last date of receipt of applications at the counter.
The closed envelope containing the application must be superscribed “Application for Special Recruitment of Assistant Surgeon”.
The candidates submitting their applications directly/personally at the Counter of Orissa Public Service Commission will be given proper acknowledgement receipt
