Jammu & Kashmir Police, Srinagar invites application from the permanent residents of J & K State for the Post of Sub Inspector in J&K Police Telecommunication, as per the notification details are given here:
- Name of the Positions – Sub Inspector – Total 41 Posts (Male & Female)
Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay: Rs. 4240/- Plus usual allowances as admissible from time to time.
Age Limits: Candidates must be between 18 to 28 years of age as on 01-01-2011 (30 years for In-Service Police Personnel)
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have Degree of BE OR B Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering OR Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a Recognized University.
Physical Standards: For Male Candidates: Height= 5.6 (min.); Chest=33.5 (expanded)
For Female Candidates: Height=5.2 (min.)
Selection Process: Selection of the eligible Candidates will be done on the Basis of Physical Standard Test/Outdoor Test, Written Test= 100 Marks (for those candidates who qualifies the physical measurement / Outdoor Test); Viva-Voce/Personality Assessment Test= 20 Marks (for those who qualifies the written test)
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates are required to send their Application accompanied by attested copies of the supporting Documents related to Age, Qualification, Resident Certificate, 4 Copies of Recent Passport Photographs to The Office of their respective Inspectors General of Police (Armed/IR) Srinagar/Jammu under proper receipt.
