JIPMER Invites application for Various Faculty Position of Professor and Additional Professor in different Departments at JIPMER Pondicherry as per advertisement notification no.: 1 (32)/2011; Dated 09-10-2011 

• Professors – Total 25 Positions {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP: Rs. 10,500/- | Age Limits: Max 58 Years} 

• Assistant Professor – Total 36 Positions {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.15600-39100 + AGP: Rs. 8000/- | Age Limits: Max 50 Years} 

In The Departments of: Cardiology / CTVS / Endocrinology / Gastro Enterology (Medical) / Gastro Enterology- (Surgical) / Medical Oncology / Nephrology / Nuclear Medicine / Surgical Oncology / Neuro Surgery / Pediatric Surgery / Anatomy / Anesthesiology / EMSD / Forensic Medicine / Medicine / Orthopedics / Psychiatry / Radiotherapy / Radio Diagnosis / Surgery / Transfusion Medicine / Endocrinology / Nuclear Medicine / Surgical Oncology / Obstetrics & Gynecology / Pharmacology / Pathology / Pulmonary Medicine / Radio-Therapy / Urology 

Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD or MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject / D.M. in respective discipline or subject for Medical super-specialties and M.Ch. in respective discipline or subject for surgical super-specialties. Postgraduate degree i.e. MD/MS/DM/M.Ch possessed by the candidate must be recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). (With Relevant work/Teaching/Research experience in the concerned specialty) 

Selection Process: Selection for the above posts will be held by conducting an interview for which date and time will be intimated to the eligible candidates. 

Application Fee: A Demand Draft in favour of the Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry-605006 as non-refundable fee and cost of application form etc., for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates) shall be attached with application form.
