Irrigation Department (Uttar Pradesh) invites applications from the eligible candidates to fill up the post of Irrigator at Offices of Superintending Engineer located in Etawah, Kanpur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Barabanki and Lucknow.

• Irrigators for Etawah Location – Total 42 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200}

• Irrigators for Kanpur Location – Total 40 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 1900}

• Irrigators for Barabanki Location – Total 09 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 1900}

• Irrigators for Lucknow Location – Total 02 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 1900}

• Irrigators for Balrampur Location – Total 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 1900}

• Irrigation Supervisor for Kanpur Location – Total 04 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 2400}

• Driver for Lucknow Location – Total 02 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 1900}

• Tindal for Barabanki Location – Total 02 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 1800}

• Switch Board Attendant for Gorakhpur Location – Total 02 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade pay of 1800}

Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have passed Matriculation / 10+2 Higher Secondary / passed VIII or equivalent from a recognized board / ITI certificate of two years duration in Electrician trade / e should have knowledge of Devnagari script and should be proficient in riding Bicycle / must be physically fit.

Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Interview.

• Lucknow: Superintendent Engineer, Central Maintenance and Store Supply Division - 2, Ganga Irrigation Building, Telibagh, Lucknow so as to reach on or before 10th October, 2011.
• Balrampur: Office of Superintending Engineer, Saryu Canal Block - 3, Balrampur so as to reach on or before 10th October, 2011.
• Gorakhpur: Superintending Engineer, Lift Irrigation Block, Gorakhpur so as to reach on or before 31st October, 2011
