IITR Faculty Jobs for Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor

IIT Roorkee invites applications from Indian nationals for faculty positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor (all regular posts) and Assistant Professor (on contract). The Institute intends to fill up around 215 faculty positions through this advertisement in the following Departments/Centers: 

• Professor – {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs. 10500/-} Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs.

• Associate Professor – {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP: Rs.9500/-} Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 6 years teaching/industrial/research experience, of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor. 

• Assistant Professor – {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP-Rs. 8000/-} Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 3 years industrial/research/teaching experience excluding, however, the experience gained while pursing Ph.D. 

• Assistant Professor (On Contract) – {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP: Rs. 6000/-} Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
