The Electricity Department, A&N Administration, Port Blair, Invites application from eligible Schedule Tribes, OBC and General Category candidates in the Prescribed Format for Recruitment on various Posts as details are mentioned below: 

• Name of the Position: Junior Engineers – Total 37 Posts 

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800; GP: Rs. 4200/- 

Age Limit: Max. 30 Yrs (Age Relaxation will be applicable as per Central Govt Rules) 

Essential Qualification: Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics a Engineering from a recognized University OR Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics a Engineering from a recognized Institute with 02 Years experience in the field 

Selection Process: The selection will be through a Written Examination (Objective type: 80 Marks) followed by Interview for 20 Marks
