Name of the Post - HANDICRAFTS PROMOTION OFFICER (ER-01) – Total 17 Positions (UR-07, SC-03, OBC-07)
Department: Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles
Age Limits: Not exceeding 30 years (Age relaxation is admissible as per Instructions)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5500–175-9000/- (Pre-revised)
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university or Equivalent + 2 years experience in the field of Handicrafts Cottage Industry and Small Scale Industry
Nationality Eligibility: (a) A citizen of India, or (b) A subject of Nepal, or (c) A subject of Bhutan, or (d) A Tibetan refugee or, (e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.
Application Fee: Non-Refundable fee of Rs. 50/- (no fee for SC/ST/WOMEN candidates) should be paid through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only, CRFS are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country
