Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI) is an Autonomous Body of Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India, Under Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education in Assam;


RFRI has invited Application from the citizens of India who fulfils the requisite qualifications / specifications as mentioned below in the prescribed format for Posts in Deferent Departments of RFRI, as per Advertisement Notification No. RFRI/3/213/2006-Estt. 

Details are as given below: 

• Technical Assistant – 03 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP: Rs. 2000} 

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 01 Seat {Pay Scale: 5200-20200 + GP: Rs. 1900} 

• Multi-Tasking Staff – 01 Seat {Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 +GP: Rs. 1800} 

• Driver – 01 Seat {Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP: Rs. 1900} 

Age Limits: Between 18 t0 35 Years as on 03-10-2011 (Age Relaxation will be Applicable as per law) 

Essential Qualifications: Passed 12th class in science/Passed 10th / ITI from a recognized board or equivalent; having knowledge of computer application. 

Application Fee: Non- refundable Demand Draft of `200.00 (`100.00 for SC/ST candidates) from any nationalized Bank in favour of the Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat.
