Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Shillong Region invites applications from interested qualified candidates for the post of Catering Assistant to be appointed on Direct Recruitment Basis to be appointed in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of North Eastern Region as per details are given below:

• Name of the Post: Catering Assistants – Total 18 Posts 

Essential Qualification: Secondary School (X class pass) and Diploma in Catering or equivalent from an institution recognized by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India/State Govt. OR Passed Sr. Secondary (Class XII) from CBSE with Hotel Management and Catering as Vocational subject and at least one year experience in catering. 

Age Limits: 35 years as on 20.09.2011. Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of India rules. 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- 

Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- for General/OBC candidates & Rs. 125/- for SC/ST candidates through Bank Draft payable at Shillong, in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Shillong (Download Application Form)
