GMCH Chandigarh vacancy for Steno-Typist through Walk-In-Interview

Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH Chandigarh) invites Application for the Posts of Steno-Typist through Walk-In-Interview to be filled up in the Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh as per detail mentioned as under:- 

• Name of the Posts – Steno-Typist – Total 05 Seats 

Pay Scale: Rs. 5910-20,200 + GP: Rs. 2,000 (Initial Pay Rs. 8,240/-) 

Age Limits: Between 18 years and 25 years as on 01.01.2011. However, relaxation in age to the applicants of reserved categories will be applicable as per Govt. Instructions. 

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree and proficiency in operation of Computer (Word Processing and Spread Sheets) and speed of 80 w.p.m. in Stenography(English) and speed of 20 w.p.m. in transcription the same.

Application Fee: Rs. 100/- (Rs. 25/- for SC candidates) as non-refundable, in the shape of demand draft payable at Chandigarh drawn in favour of Director Principal, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. (No Fee for Physically handicapped persons).

How to Apply: Candidates desirous for the same may appear for Stenography Test in English on 22.10.2011(Saturday) upto 10.00 a.m. in the Industrial Training Institute, Sector 28- C, Chandigarh alongwith typing Machine, application form in the prescribed Format, duly supported with self attested certificates, latest passport size photograph, application fee in the shape of Demand Draft.
