The Commission has been established as a statutory body charged with the responsibility to prevent practices having adverse affect on competition, to promote and sustain competition in markets, to protect interests of consumers and to ensure freedom of trade carried on by other participants in markets, in India, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. 

The Competition Commission of India is looking for Professionals in law, economics and financial analysts with a flair for research and critical analysis. An efficient team of support staff is also needed for smooth functioning of the Commission.

• Director (Economics) – Total 01 Seat {Pay Scale: Rs.37400 - 67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8900 | Age Limits: 40-45 Years} 

• Joint Director (Economics) – Total 01 Seat {Pay Scale: Rs.37400 - 67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8700 | Age Limits: 35-40 Years} 

• Deputy Director (Law) – Total 06 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600 | Age Limits: Max 33 Years} 

• Deputy Director (Financial Analysis) – Total 01 Seat {Pay Scale: Rs.15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600 | Age Limits: Max 33 Years} 

• Deputy Director (Economics) – Total 11 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600 | Age Limits: Max 33 Years} 

• Office Manager (Finance & Accounts) – Total 03 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5400 | Age Limits: Max 28 Years} 

• Office Manager (Corporate Service) – Total 09 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5400 | Age Limits: Max 28 Years} 

• Office Manager (Library Science) – Total 01 Seat {Pay Scale: Rs.9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5400 | Age Limits: Max 28 Years} 

Essential Qualifications: PhD / Masters Degree in Economics/Micro Economics/Industrial Organization Theory / Econometric / Statistics / Bachelor of Law (Professional) / Commerce/ Business Administration with Accounting and Finance/ Chartered Accountant / Company Secretary /Cost and Works Accountant / Financial Analyst / Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Library Science / Diploma in Human Resource Management / Accounting / Finance; / Cash and Accounts Course of Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent from a recognized Institute / University with relevant work experience in the concerned department.
