Railway Recruitment Board-rrbbpl.nic.in Recruitment 2011 for Assistant Loco Pilot

Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railways Recruitment Board, has invited application from eligible Indian national for the post of Assistant Loco pilots as per centralised Employment Notice No. 01/2011, details for the Railways Recruitment Notice is given below:

• Assistant Loco Pilots: Total 16595 Vacancies

Education Qualification: Matriculation OR its equivalent under 10+2 system and course completed Act. Apprentice I.T.I. in any of the following specific trades recognised by SCVT/NCVT: (1) Fitter (2) Electrician (3) Instrument Mechanic (4) Mill Wright / Maintenance Mechanic (5) Mechanic Radio & T.V (6) Electronic Mechanic (7) Mechanic Motor Vehicle (8) Wireman (9) Tractor Mechanic (10) Armature & Coil Winder (11) Mechanic Diesel (12) Heat Engine (13) Turner (14) Machinist (15) Refrigeration & A.C. Mechanic OR Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Automobile / Engineering recognized by AICTE lieu of I.T.I.
Age Limits: Normal age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2012 (Age Relaxation will be applicable as per Rules)
Pay Scale: Scale of Pay with GP as per (6^th Pay Commission) is Rs. 5200 – 20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
Selection Process: Selection to the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot will be done on the basis of (1) Written Examination (2) Aptitude Test (3) Document & Candidature Verification


Application Fee: Non-Refundable Fee of Rs. 40 paid through Crossed Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order (DD/IPO) drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of Chairman / Member Secretary / Dy. No Fee for Women / Sc/ ST / Ex-Servicemen / Muslims / Christians / Sikhs / Buddhists / Zoroastrians (Parsis) Candidates.


How to Apply: Eligible and interested Candidates can apply through any mode Online OR offline. Both the modes are accepted:
For Offline Mode: Application complete in all respect along with required enclosures should be sent by post to the Member Secretary / Secretary / Assistant Secretary of the concerned Railway recruitment Board (See Detailed Advertisement) so as to reach on or before 12.09.2011 917.30 hrs)
For Online Mode: Interested Candidates can also Apply Online on or before 12.09.2011 at any concerned Railway Recruitment Board Official Websites. Candidates are required to click on the Online Application Link and have to fill their Bio-Data in the prescribed format.


After Applying online take the print out of the system generated application form and paste recent colour passport size photograph on the form and complete it in all respect and send it to the concerned Railway Recruitment board (See detailed Advertisement) last date 12.09.2011 (For far flung candidates is 27.09.2011)
The Application can also be dropped in the box kept at the premises of the concerned RRB offices till the closing date.
