• Mining: 319 Posts; Qualification: B.Tech/BE with 60% marks
• Electrical: 159 Posts; Qualification: B.Tech/BE with 60% marks
• Mechanical: 145 Posts; Qualification: B.Tech/BE with 60% marks
• Civil: 50 Posts; Qualification: B.Tech/BE with 60% marks
• Industrial Engineering: 09 Posts; Qualification: B.Tech/BE with 60% marks
• Chemical/ Mineral: 20 Posts; Qualification: B.Tech/BE with 60% marks
• Electronics & Telecommunication: 07 Posts; Qualification; B.Tech/BE with 60% marks 
• Systems: 10 Posts; Qualification: B.Tech/BE/BS.c (Engg) with 60% marks
• Environment: 13 Posts; Qualification: Degree in Environmental Engineering with 60% Marks
• Geology: 31 Posts; Qualification: M.Tech / M.Sc in Geophysics or Geology
• Geophysics: 06 Posts; Qualification: M.Tech / M.Sc in Geophysics
• Materials Management: 17 Posts; Qualification: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical
• Finance & Accounts: 133 Posts; Qualification: Qualified ICA-CA-
• Personnel & HR: 136 Posts; Qualification: Degree in MBA (Human Resource)
• Sales & Marketing: 19 Posts; Qualification: MBA Degree & specialization in Marketing
• Rajbhasha (Hindi): 06 Posts; Qualification; Masters in Hindi (Main Subject) with 60% marks

Reservation Category: UR-538, OBC-268, SC-179, ST-95

Pay Scale: E1 grade- Rs.16400- 40500 and on successful completion of training will be posted in the E2 grade Rs.20600-46500,

Age Limits: 30 years as on 31/3/2011. Relaxation in age as per Govt. rules
