The National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms was established through a funded project sponsored by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, New Delhi in the IX Plan in 2001 under the auspices of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The basic aim of this Bureau is to promote and co-ordinate systematic and scientific research in agriculturally important microorganisms (AIMs) in order to improve the agricultural productivity. 
The National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms has invited Jobs Application from Indian nationals for filling up their Vacant Post of Senior Research fellow (SRFs) in the Project "Bioprospecting of genes and allele mining for abiotic stress tolerance" at NATIONAL BUREAU OF AGRICULTURALLY IMPORTANT MICROORGANISMS, Mau Nath Bhanjan, Uttar Pradesh-275101. Interested Job seekers from M.Sc. Essential/Desirable Qualification required
Essential: M.Sc. in Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology with Good Academic Records.
Desirable: Knowledge of Different Molecular Biology software, Knowledge of Bioinformatic Computer Application. handling of equipments like DNA sequencer, RT-PCR, Gel documentation etc. Good communication skills.
