Allahabad Bank is a Government of India Undertaking; inviting ONLINE Applications for Recruitment of 1600 Probationary Officers (POs) Posts; from Indian citizens who have taken the pre-requisite Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai in 2011-12 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS.
As per the Official Employment Notification No.: REC/ 01/2012-13 – Details for PO Jobs in Allahabad Bank is mentioned in below paragraphs:-
- Name of the Position: - Probationary Officer (POs)
Number of Vacancies: - Total 1600 Positions (UR: 800 – SC: 240 – ST: 128 – OBC: 432)
Pay Scale: Selected POs will be getting JMG, Scale-I Basic Pay of RS. 14500 – 25700/- + applicable allowances per month.
Age Limits: Applicants must be between 20 to 30 Years of age as on 01.07.2011 (Relaxation in upper age will be applicable for Reserved Category Candidates as per the GOI Rules see detailed notice)
Essential Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution; with working knowledge in Computer Operation with Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Computer operations/ Language.
Note: - Candidates are required IBPS PO Common Written Examination (CWE) with Minimum 125 marks – For General Category; and Minimum 112 marks – For SC/ST/OBC/PWD Candidates.
Selection Procedure: Selection of the eligible candidates will be done on the Basis of marks obtained in IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) Common Written Examination (CWE) and then Finally Personal Interview.
Probation Periods: 02 years as period of probation
Application Fee: Rs.200/- only (Rs.50/- only for SC/ST/PH candidates) is required to pay as application fee through Allahabad Bank Branch with the Fees payment Challan, in Cash, in the designated Account No50087755346 in the name & style of “ALLAHABAD BANK PROBATIONARY OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2012-13”.
