SCI is inviting applications from unmarried male and female Graduate four years BE / B.Tech. / B.S (Marine Engineer) as Trainee Engineering Cadet.

- Name of the Vacancy – Trainee Engineering Cadet
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01.04.2012 (Relaxation in upper age will be applicable for SC/ST and Female Candidates as per the rules)
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed BE / B Tech / BS in Marine Engineering from AICTE approved Institution.
Stipend: Rs. 25000/- per month (inclusive) along with other admissible allowances will be offered during Training period.
Selection Process: Eligible Candidates will be selected on the basis of Personal Interview, which will be held at Head Office of Shipping Corporation of India Limited, Mumbai.
Training Periods: Candidates will have to go for 06 Months formal training after their selection.
