The National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya is being established as an Institution of National Importance, with funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

NIT Meghalaya invites Applications in Prescribed Format from Indian nationals for appointment on permanent/ contract/ deputation basis, possessing requisite academic qualifications and experience, with commitment to work, passion for teaching & research and an inclination towards institutional development, for various faculty positions listed below:

• Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE) – Total 02 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37100 – 67000 + AGP: Rs. 10000/-}

• Associate Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech./Math/Physics/Chemistry) – Total 04 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs. 37400 – 67000 + AGP: Rs. 9000/-}

• Assistant Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech./Math/Physics/ Chemistry/English) – Total 09 Posts {Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600 – 39100 + AGP: Rs. 6000/-}

Essential Qualifications: Ph. D. degree (with first class or equivalent grade at Bachelors or Masters Level) in appropriate discipline, with appropriate work experience in related Filed.

For Contractual Appointments: M. Tech/ M. Phil (with first class or equivalent grade at Masters of Bachelors level) in appropriate discipline, with appropriate work experience in related Filed.
