ITBP Constables Recruitment through J&K Local Recruitment Rally 2012

Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India; Invites application from Male Indian Citizens belonging to J&K State only, for Recruitment on the Post of Constable (General Duty) Group ‘C’, in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Force anywhere in India and even abroad. 

Recruitment will be carried out through LOCAL RALLY SYSTEM 2012

Name of the Position – Constable (General Duty) Group-C 

• For candidates belonging to all over J&K State: Total 366 Vacancies {SC: 21 – ST: 60 – OBC: 133 – UR: 152 Posts} 

• For candidates belonging to Border region (Leh & Kargil): Total 360 Vacancies {SC: 30 – ST: 39 – OBC: 97 – UR: 194 Posts} 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month. 

Age Limits: Candidates must be between 18 to 23 Years of age as on 01 August 2011 (Age relaxation to special reserved category candidates will be applicable) 

Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board/University. 

Physical Standards: – Height: 165 cm – Chest: 78 cm – Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards 

Eye Sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of 2 eyes without correction without wearing of glasses. 

Selection Process: Selection on the Posts of Constable in ITBP will be done on the basis of Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, and Written Examination Test. 

Application Fee: Non-refundable fee of Rs.50/- only for General/OBC Candidates (No fee for SC/ST & Ex-Servicemen Candidates), shall be paid in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS) / Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Bank Draft. Bank Draft and IPO should be prepared in favor of Inspector General, (NW) Frontier, ITB Police; Chandigarh.
