CISF has invited Application from Ex-Servicemen only for recruitment on various Posts of Constables (Tradesmen) in Various Disciplines as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” – Details are mentioned below:

• Constable Barber – 13 Seats 

• Constable Boot Maker – 01 Seat 

• Constable Cook – 70 Seats 

• Constable Carpenter – 03 Seats 

• Constable Electrician – 01 Seat 

• Constable Mali – 01 Seat 

• Constable Sweeper – 56 Seats 

• Constable Washer Man – 31 Seats 

• Constable Water Carrier – 34 Seats 

Pay Scale: PB-1 {Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government employees from time to time} 

Age Limits: Army service plus 3 years to be deducted from actual age and the resultant age should not exceed 23 years as on 01-08-2012, (relaxed-able by 5 years for SC and ST, by three years for OBC). 

Essential Qualifications: Matriculation or 10th Class Pass / Army 1st Class Certificate Physical Standards: Ex-Servicemen candidates are eligible for total relaxation in physical standards. 

Selection Process: Selection on Constable Posts will be done on the Basis of Eligibility Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, and then Medical Examination.
