Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, inviting eligible candidates for various Non Teaching Posts through Direct Recruitment, Deputation Or on Contract basis, as per notice no.: Rectt/02/Non-Acad/2011-12 details are given below:

• Superintending Engineer – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs. 7600/-} Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute / university with relevant experience in execution and construction of Civil Work including Public Health and Contract management. 

• Deputy Librarian – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs. 7600/-} Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation or its equivalent Grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record. 

• Assistant Librarian – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs. 6000/-} Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or its equivalent Grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record. 

• Assistant Registrar – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs. 5400/-} Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade B. 

• Private Secretary – 02 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay: Rs. 4800/-} Bachelor’s Degree with relevant working experience as PA/PS in Government, Semi Government, reputed University, Technical/Autonomous Institutions with an excellent proficiency in English language, Stenography, Computer knowledge , Office Applications and Secretarial Practices like interdepartmental/Govt. 

• Junior Technical Superintendent – 09 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-} MSc / BSc / BE / B Tech / MCA / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Geology & Electronics / Computer Science & Engineering / Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 Years) in Science with Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Geology & Geo-Physics / Bio Science with relavent work experience 

• Junior Superintendent – 07 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-} Master’s Degree in appropriate discipline with relevant experience in academic administration like admission, examination, student affairs etc. 

• Junior Accounts Officer – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-} Master’s / Bachelor’s / ICAI /ICWA / ICSI with relevant knowledge of Accounting Software and experience. 

• Junior Hindi Translator – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-} Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned field of a recognized University with relevant work experience. 

• Physical Training Instructor – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-} Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with relevant experience.

• Junior Architect (Temporary) – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-} Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with relevant work experience.

• Junior Technician – 13 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-} ITI/Diploma in Engineering in the field of Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Computer Science & Engineering. 

• Junior Laboratory Assistant – 05 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-} Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 years) in Science with Physics / Chemistry / Geology & Geophysics/Mathematics/ Bio Sciences with knowledge of computer applications. 

• Junior Assistant – 10 Posts {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-} Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (10+2+3 pattern) with computer key depression speed equivalent to 60 WPM, proficiency in Office applications like Word, Excel, Power Point etc. 

• Pharmacist – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-} Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma or degree in Pharmacy granted by an institution of the Central / State Govt. 

• Security Officer – 01 Post {Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay: Rs.4800/-} Bachelor Degree from a Recognized University with relevant experience in Police/Para-Military Forces/Armed Forces with a Valid Driving License to ride Jeep/Motor Cycle. 

Application Fee: Bank Draft from any scheduled commercial bank for Rs.200/- (no fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates) shall be drawn in favour of the “Registrar, IIT Bhubaneswar” and made payable at “Bhubaneswar”. 

How to Apply: Completed Applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of relevant certificates and mark-sheets and Bank Draft must reach to “The Registrar (Attn: Recruitment Section) IIT Bhubaneswar, Samantapuri, Bhubaneswar-751 013 on or before 25-11-2011”.
