ICF Chennai Indian Railways Recruitment against Sports Quota Jobs 2011

Integral Coach Factory (ICF CHENNAI) Is under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India.

ICF Invites Application from Eligible Sportsmen from India for Recruitment on Technician Grade-3 Posts against Sports Quota, as per the following details mentioned here: 

Name of the Position – Technician Grade-III Officers – Total 10 Posts 

• Volleyball (Attacker, Blocker, Setter) – 02 Posts 
• Cricket (Bowler, Batsman, All-rounder) – 02 Posts 
• Football (Forward, Midfielder, Defender) – 01 Post 
• Kabaddi (Attacker, All-Rounder) – 02 Posts 
• Power lifting (66 Kg, 74 Kg, 83 Kg) – 02 Posts 
• Hockey (Forward) – 01 Posts 

Age Limits: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2012; Sports person should have been born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.1994. (No relaxation in lower or upper age limit is permissible). 

Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs. 1900 / 1800/- as applicable. 

Essential Qualifications: Course completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI in the relevant Trade OR 10th Std Pass or ITI or equivalent.

Selection Process: Selection will consist of trial followed by a personal interview & Medical Examination Test. Only candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be subjected to the selection process. 

Application Fee: Rs.40/- (No Fee for SC/ST candidates) should be paid only through crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/ICF payable at Chennai. 

How to Apply: Applications in the prescribed format shall be filled in an A4 size GSM Bond paper, Along with the application form, an IPO for an amount of Rs.40/- should be enclosed. Attested photocopies of supporting documents related to Age, Caste, Educations, Experience, awards, etc to “The ASSISTANT PERSONNEL OFFICER/G, INTEGRAL COACH FACTORY, CHENNAI - 600 038”, sent by ordinary post only. 

Please Note: On top of the envelope "Application for Sports Recruitment – Category "should be written in Block letters and write the category applied for.
