Nationality Eligibility: (a) A citizen of India, or (b) A subject of Nepal, or (c) A subject of Bhutan, or (d) A Tibetan refugee or, (e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English / Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree Level / Bachelor’s degree in Education / Recognized Diploma or certificate course in translation / diploma in linguistics from Hindi to English or English to Hindi and vice versa
Age Limits: Not exceeding 30 years as on 01.08.2011 (Age relaxation will be applicable is per law please see detailed advertisement)
Application Fee: Non-Refundable fee of Rs. 100/- (no fee for SC/ST/WOMEN candidates) should be paid through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only, CRFS are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country.
Selection process: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination & Personality Test (Interview) Total 500 marks; PART-I - Written Examination carrying 400 marks; and PART-II - Personality Test (Interview) carrying 100 Marks;
