It does Investigation; Design; Construction; Operation & Maintenance of Hydro; Thermal; Wind & Solar Power Stations in and out of Karnataka. 
         Now KPCL invites Application for Post of Engineers in various Departments of its Power Projects & Stations as per Advertisement Notification No. A1p1C; Dated 15-09-2011. Details are given below:

• Assistant Engineer (Civil) – Total 35 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.25248/- | Essential Qualification: BE (Civil) or AMIE in Civil Engineering} 

• Assistant Engineers (Electrical) – Total 69 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.25248/- | Essential Qualification: BE (Electrical) or AMIE in Electrical Engineering} 

• Assistant Engineers (Mechanical) – Total 76 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.25248/- | Essential Qualification: BE (Mechanical) or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering}

• Junior Engineers (Civil) – Total 27 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.19266/- | Essential Qualification: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering} 

• Junior Engineers (Electrical) – Total 39 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.19266/- | Essential Qualification: Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering} 

• Junior Engineers (Mechanical) – Total 46 Seats {Pay Scale: Rs.19266/- | Essential Qualification: Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering}
