BHEL Invites Application from young and energetic Graduate
Engineers for Position of Engineers Trainee in various Disciplines given below:
- Engineers Trainees – Total 800 Positions
- Mechanical – 550 Posts
- Electrical – 175 Posts
- Electronics – 75 Posts
Pay Scale: At Project Sites à Rs. 8.8 Lakhs per Annum | At Manufacturing Units/Division/Power Sector
Regions à Rs.
7.5 Lakhs per Annum
Age Limits: 27 years for Graduate in Engineering / Technology
OR 29 Years for Full-Time Post Graduates of Engineering / Business Administration
/ Management with basic degree in Engineering. (Age relaxation will be applicable
as per Rules)
Essential Qualification: Bachelor degree in Engineering or
Technology in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering with at least
60% marks (50% for SC/ST) from recognized UPSC/AICTE/University/ Institution.
Selection Process: candidates will be shortlisted on the
basis of GATE 2012 Score Card of the candidates in the concerned discipline
& performance in the interview. Final selection Panels shall be prepared by
assigning a weight age of 75% for GATE – 2012 Score and 25% to interview
Application Fee: Rs. 100/- is payable by Gen/OBC candidates
(No Fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates) the fee can be paid through Power Jyothi
Account.

Trainee Position in BHEL for the year 2012 – 2013 will be required to take the
Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering – 2012
- The Score obtained in GATE – 2012 will be utilized by BHEL for inviting candidates for Personal Interview for Consideration for the Position of Engineers Trainee
- After Submitting application for GATE – 2012, Candidates will be allotted a Registration No.
- Candidates will than, have to separately apply ON-LINE to BHEL for which BHEL recruitment website will be Open from 04 January 2012, where Candidates will have to give their GATE-2012 Registration No.

- Candidates should submit their GATE Application Form as instructed by the GATE authorities and wait for their Admit Card to get the GATE-2012 Registration Number
- After Receipt of GATE Registration Number, the candidates need to apply to BHEL ONLINE in the Prescribed Application Format Given Here: Apply Online Now (Note: Apply Online Only After 04th January 2012)
- Candidates should take print out of Acknowledgment Slip, affix a copy of the same Photograph used for GATE 2012, sign at the space provided and send it to BHEL along with the Challan of Rs. 100/-
- The Passport size photograph affixed by the candidate should be the same submitted along with GATE – 2012 application form. In case the candidate is called for interview, he/she can bring with him/her the GATE-2012 Admit Card OFFICIAL GATE SCORE CARD and other relevant documents which will be mentioned in the interview call letter
