PWSSB invites online Application for various posts of Junior/Senior Engineer/Steno-typist & Clerks through CDAC Mohali, details are as given: 

• Sub-Divisional Engineer (Civil): 25 Posts {Pay Scale: 15600 – 39100 + 5400 Grade Pay} 
• Junior Engineer (Civil): 50 Posts {Pay Scale: 10300 – 34800 + 3800 Grade Pay} 
• Steno-Typist (Stenographer): 10 Posts {Pay Scale: 5910 – 20200 + 2000 Grade pay} 
• Clerks: 25 Posts {Pay Scale: 5910 – 20200 + 1900 Grade pay} 

Age Limits: Age Limit: Between 18 and 37 years as on 1st Jan. 2011 (01.01.2011). Age relaxation will be as per the rules of Punjab Government. 

Essential Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering | Diploma in Civil Engineering, Any Bachelors Degree | Stenography Test Passed | Possesses a Computer Information Technology Course Equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) of Government of India. 

Application Fee: For Post of Sub-Div-Engineer & Jr. Engineer is Rs. 1000/- (for GEN Category), Rs. 250/- (For SC/ST/OBC Category) | For Post of Steno-Typist & Clerks is Rs. 600/- (for GEN Category), Rs. 150/- (for Sc/ST/BC/Ex-SM.) After Applying Online , candidate shall have to report to the designated banker (Axis Bank) along with the downloaded Acknowledgement Slip Fee Challan for depositing the fee. 

How to Apply: The candidates have to apply only on-line on before 5-08-2011 up to 5:00 p.m. and generate his/her application number. Apply Online Now

"Applicant will be allotted online Registration Number printed on the acknowledgement slip containing the details, he/she should get the print of the form, paste recent photograph on it and get it attested from a notary or a Gazetted officer. This allotted registration number slip will be used as identification slip at the time of written test (for steno-typist only ) and counselling if called for. Candidates need not send any application/Documents by Post"
