The Institute has been established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in the year 2008 to cater to the growing demand of Architects and Planners and to promote advanced research in the field. 

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for various Positions in SPA, Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) on regular / deputation / contract basis as mentioned below: 

• Registrar: 01 post {Pay Scale : 37400-67000/- + GP Rs. 10000/-}
• Deputy Registrar: 01 post {Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 7600/-}
• Assistant Registrar: 02 posts {Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 5400/-}
• Technical Officer : 01 post {Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 5400/-}

• Personal Assistant : 02 posts {Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/-}
• Junior Superintendent : 04 posts {Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/-}
• Junior Engineer : 02 posts {Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/-}
• Technical Assistant : 01 post {Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2000/-}
• Junior Assistant : 07 posts {Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2000/-}

Application Fee:  Non-Refundable application fee of  Rs.500/-(for General and OBC candidates) by Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada payable at Vijayawada (SC/ST/PH  candidates are not required to submit any fee / Demand Draft)
